So with USM ending with issue 24, and given how every month it’s the most popular Spider-Man book I have to imagine there’s gonna be a relaunch after. So if that happens, who do you want to do it?

……time for the end of the Hickman era. I’ve been reading all of Hickman’s work since Ultimate Spider-Man was announced and starting with Secret Warriors and getting to this has been a journey unlike any other.

So there’s a lot of praise towards Ultimate Spider-Man after its first year and rightly so. But I wanted to make a thread about why, as a long time Spidey fan, this book has been hitting me so hard.

It kind of depends on what you like, Robert kirkman has written a bunch of stuff. The latest thing he’s finished is a comic called Fire Power. If invincible is everything he loves about superheroes, this is everything he loves about martial art action movies.

@peachsaliva.bsky.social if your still looking for stuff with Walter Goggins in it, then I have to recommend Invincible. He plays maybe one of the most complex characters in the series and his performance is a real standout.
