Ok so…….Am I the only one who think the original Ultimate Spider-Man comic is kind of overrated? Like it’s not bad, but I don’t really think it’s great either.

So with USM ending with issue 24, and given how every month it’s the most popular Spider-Man book I have to imagine there’s gonna be a relaunch after. So if that happens, who do you want to do it?

@patstaresat.bsky.social Listened to the latest pod and I'm torn on getting Blue Prince, it sounds really fun and rewarding but I've never played a game like this before. Unless you count professor Layton games on the DS. But is this a good intro to these meta puzzle games?

……time for the end of the Hickman era. I’ve been reading all of Hickman’s work since Ultimate Spider-Man was announced and starting with Secret Warriors and getting to this has been a journey unlike any other.

I remember when Zeb Well’s Spiderman run was at THAT story arc and someone I listen to said ‘let him cook! His new mutant run was great!’ Which no shade against them, I get giving the guy a chance……but then he basically pissed in a bowl, called it soup, and then left.

So there’s a lot of praise towards Ultimate Spider-Man after its first year and rightly so. But I wanted to make a thread about why, as a long time Spidey fan, this book has been hitting me so hard.

@peachsaliva.bsky.social if your still looking for stuff with Walter Goggins in it, then I have to recommend Invincible. He plays maybe one of the most complex characters in the series and his performance is a real standout.
