If that’s the case then I have found one of the first laws we pass is changing that. There shouldn’t be a statue of limitations on raping or trafficking children

God, I remember when seemingly half the MFers in Hollywood were defending/excusing/absolving Roman Polanski back in the 80s & 90s. It was actually considered trendy & sophisticated to treat his conviction as a railroading, and to praise the French for their “enlightened defense of a persecuted man.”
