I've duplicated my gamedev tricks thread in a couple different social networks; I thought it was time to just bundle all together in one blog post, easier to check all, and if some site goes down my blog stays! www.david-amador.com...
Gamedev tricks used by developers
🧵 origin thread In 2018 I started a thread on Twitter (later renamed X 🙄) where I shared some game development tricks devs used to get around get around bugs, software, hardware or time constraints. Over time I added more stuff to that thread, and there’s some cool information there. Since I now replicated that thread on both Mastodon and Bluesky; it got me thinking I should probably put this on my own blog, a single post, which is easier to read, also in case those websites are ever taken down.
