I have never understood why anybody would want this prize.
The sponsors are very problematic, and have been for a long time.

Did you notice this yourself, or did somebody else look over your shoulder and say,'Alasdair are these sex criminals owned by the millionaire or employed by the millionaire'.
Blaming autocorrect is the modern equivalent of
'The dog ate my homework.'

Come back on washing day.

With the right data AI can be used to pinpoint likely customers for any product.
Considerably reducing the need for extensive advertising and marketing departments.
Think: AI can currently sell to and buy from AI, without
human involvement.

You have identified the one area of business where AI
would be perfect to use.
AI can make decisions without prejudice. Doesn't worry
if it's decisions will affect it's best buds, career or private
school fees.

I am currently re reading, The Owl Service.
Thinking, we were encouraged to read this
at junior school.
Curiously it is a subject, suitable for either of
your podcasts.

Last nights show featured a repeated question.
For one moment I thought that I was watching a repeat.
The picture quiz that started with Kirsty Young and ended
with Nelson Mandela.
Even the teams suggestion of Run DMC, was the same.

My sister was library folk. So for much of my teens
in our home there was a constantly changing choice of
books.
I would pick up whatever was going. This is why
when Jilly Cooper died, my first thought was
'Hotfoot to Zabriskie Point'. A very funny book.

The only people I know to have reached such figures
are library folk. But, this will include Mills and Boon's
knocked off during lunch times and breaks.

The Tesco ad, wait and see.

I would randomly pick up CD's, purely chosen, because I
liked what was on the cover.
Out of View, by 'The History of Apple Pie'.

I was once stuck in traffic and saw over a cemetery wall
carved on a headstone. 'Here lies Fred, who's dead'

'Agatha Christie's Great Detectives, Poirot and Marple',
is a Japanese anime series. I think it has been previously
referred to on 'Labours'.
Mabel West, a niece of Miss Marple's and her pet duck
named Oliver were added.
Also Inspector Japp's name is changed to Sharp.
There are 39 episodes.

I remember an adventure game, where a problem
required the decrystallisation of a jar of honey in a hot tub
as part of its solution.
