'Agatha Christie's Great Detectives, Poirot and Marple',
is a Japanese anime series. I think it has been previously
referred to on 'Labours'.
Mabel West, a niece of Miss Marple's and her pet duck
named Oliver were added.
Also Inspector Japp's name is changed to Sharp.
There are 39 episodes.

A couple of month's ago I was searching for 'Zabriskie Point'
the Antonioni film.
The first thing item the search brought up was
'Hotfoot to Zabriskie Point', a book collaboration
between Patrick Lichfield and Jilly Cooper.
A cultural oddity that I had completely forgotten about.

There is this:
Sheila O' Neill was a designer of motor bikes and aeroplanes.
In 1912 She was the first woman to file an US patent for an aircraft, a year or so before the one quoted as first.
She was not allowed to be a cab driver, because of her sex.
However she did become a private hire.

Actually, "soccer" is an English word. Originated in the 1880's
by students at Oxford (see below). The folk in the US used it to differentiate football from gridiron football when the former started to gain popularity there, in the early 20C.
