US lawmakers could not grasp the importance of nationalizing Twitter, now it’s a tool for privatizing government.

The hubris and arrogance of this has forced on us a question you never want to put to any test:

“ what happens when an entire national populations worth of tax info & core PII is lost, stolen and/or just fed into a big opaque off-site LLM?”

he wants to abolish the income tax and fund the government almost entirely through tariffs, thereby delivering the most regressive bonanza to the rich in the history of American taxation. He has said this many many times. He said it *at the announcement* and yet pieces like this just ignore it.

A Nightmare.
Best case, apart from not actually doing this ‘project”, is that they throw on a few flashy frontends, route data flow through some opaque offsite apparatus (???), keep everything else as-is & go on every media touting their game-changing disruption paradigm.

Unlikely though.
