I used to be proud as a faculty member at Pace University to share that status with RFK jr, who taught in Pace's Law School while I taught in the school of Arts and Sciences. Now you'll need to waterboard me to get me to volunteer that connection.

Pretty dumb to think Democrats in the 1980s opposed markets,competition, and innovation. I'd say "self-serving racist dumb," in fact, that led inevitably to Trump.

Do they serve any useful purpose, then? What would happen if Bluesky just eliminated them altogether? Anything remotely negative? Also, why not "I ignore DMs unless I know you" instead of "No DMs"? I can imagine a time when someone I know might want to contact me but not want to post in public.
