I intend to not buy anything new for a while - I’ve been having a good time working through my backlog, I want to finish some stuff before I add anything new to my collection. That being said, I will exploit the “birthday present” loophole to ask for some new models.

I’m guilty of buying when I’m nowhere near ready to build/paint more all the time, so I’d likely end up buying everything fairly quickly. If I can maintain focus, maybe six months would be enough time to finish an army? It all depends on the army though - 2000 Custodes is quicker than 2000 Guard.

Dunno how spicy hot these takes are, but Warhammer needs to do more to encourage creating your own lore for your heroes. I miss the days when you had loads of weird options for your leader, like Sagas for Space Wolf heroes.

Also, GW should sell printed shoulder pad sprues for more Marine chapters.
