After her Mystery Solving Days were over, Velma became a self employed super scientist, becoming very rich & able to afford unique experiments on herself & in this case created & modified clones of her friends

im in that same boat, saw enough clips, pre launch material, & the main actress make an ass of herself in interviews to know it was everything people said it was and worse, literally its only success was starting numbers as a train wreck to watch

you know, an Adult Swim only Scooby Doo show could have had some real legs to it if VELMA didn't poison the well on trying something "adult" with the concept

yeah, plus the first big budget animated movie had real zombies, but yeah its very rare that the gang deals with someone who is a coin flip away from being a secret serial killer who just happens to also be a famous quirky voice actress XD (thankfully they didn't go that far)

eh....considering she makes very manic "im gonna wait in your closet and wear your skin while you sleep" kind of crazy faces throughout the episode.....I dont think the gang have ever encountered anything like her and thus SHOULD be scared XD

someday the dev's will just sneak in a bodysuit like that and things will be truly right with the world :D
