My neighbor gave me slippers! They’re too small for her, so she asked me if I want them. Her English is as good as my Spanish, so she said “your little feet want little shoes?”

I didn’t tell her it’s because they remind me of Piccolo’s shoes. 🤣

When I think of how kind people have been by buying off my wishlists, all I can think of is that I am grateful. I read this bible verse from Matthew and I think it about sums it up.

It’s finally a chilly enough morning to wear the hand warmers Elizabeth made. She made them for herself, but since she died I asked Jason to send them to me. They’re pink, my favorite color. I hope she’s happy knowing she’s keeping my hands warm. ❤️

The memorial shrine at church is up, so I finally got to put Elizabeth’s picture there. She ended up having the biggest picture on the dang thing!

I miss her so much.

Btw Black’s first job was a guard, but he later became paramedic who works in the city. If Bowser takes off in his airship, Black is aboard as part of the emergency medical staff. He’s VERY loyal to his King for one specific special reason:

I remember how dry my mouth was when I climbed those steps!” He wiggled his hands, imitating his frightened shaking. “King Bowser leaned forward to look me in the eyes and started interviewing me in perfect Koopa Sign! My jaw hit the floor. I was flabbergasted! My King spoke my language! I aced the interview and got a job as a guard. My first job!” Black wrapped his arm around Ludwig’s shoulders, signing one-handed. “I asked King Bowser how he knew Koopa Sign, and he told me about this beautiful Koopa. We met because of him.” Ludwig looked up as Black leaned down, and they kissed tenderly. “You are the greatest gift my dad gave me,” he signed. Black slow-blinked and shed a tear when he smiled. Ludwig mirrored the expression.

Monsterverse Godzilla is my “angry/fight” part and he went from a part that terrified me to a protector I can count on. He likes to keep things in balance in my brain, but things get destructive when he brawls with Trauma. They clash often, but when they work together it’s amazing.
