A pox on app developers that reset the current state to default when you switch away for a moment to look something up... perhaps information you needed when filling out a form, for example.

One of the things I liked about social media was the ability to gather interesting information for classes I was teaching. I made extensive use of bookmarks and ‘saved items’. When exiting #Twitter, I had a lot to go through. Same with #Facebook. But now the message in this screenshot is now… 1/x

#7 (2005) From Clachan Bridge. Left: the Scottish Mainland; Right: the Isle of Seil, Argyll. One of the Slate Islands, Seil's name is believed to be pre-Gaelic. Nearby is Tigh an Truish, or House of the Trousers, was where islanders changed from kilts into trousers before crossing to the mainland.
A narrow channel of water flows up the center of the image which separates the island from the mainland. Small fishing boats and buoys are anchored in the channel. Autumn foliage standard for Scotland in October lines the channel.
