This is not “parenting.” There was no misbehavior that needed to be corrected. In fact, there is a manufactured issue based on the whim of a narcissist parent. This is “narcissistic parenting” - based on a need for control and to feed his own grandiosity & to be the center of attention.

One of the most fun aspects of writing are the Easter eggs, the tiny little things the author adds to the story to see if everyone's paying attention, it might be a line from a movie or a reference to something.
