It is really painful to say, but news like this makes it clear that the movie series I have loved since childhood is gone for now. I'm glad we have the Eon canon to cherish, but obviously the near future is just going to be vanity productions so a grotesque megalomaniac can have his playthings.

Oddly, a lot of my anxiety around trying to play some rock and roll again comes from feeling like I don't look the part. I'm not particularly attractive and I've grown older and stouter.
I am going to try to keep in mind that this character's look is one I always admired and can reasonably achieve.

Oddly, a lot of my anxiety around trying to play some rock and roll again comes from feeling like I don't look the part. I'm not particularly attractive and I've grown older and stouter.

In a jocular spirit, a friend showed me an excerpt of an essay arguing (rather unrigorously) against the twelve-tone technique and I was surprised at how genuinely angry it made me.
