It would have been funny that instead of killing Varric, Varric got stuck in the fade with Solas. Solas would secretly love being around his old friend again and the plot twist was that Varric could have left weeks ago but wanted to stay with Solas and remind him he's not alone.

Ghilan 'nain has the same mannerisms as Candace from Phineas and Ferb in this scene.

What if after Lucanis takes Rook to the Market, he spends the entire night thinking about how he forgot to get them anything. 😂 Like I know they went to the cafe together, but you know that man feels bad he didn't get them anything especially if Rook bought the dagger for him.

Any criticism about Lucanis's romance is always met with "you just expected Zevran 2.0" Actually I expected an awkward mess like Alistair. I think we can be respectful that some people were disappointed and some people had no issues with the romance.

I saved Minrathous for the first time (I'm nearing the point of no return). The quest line is just far more interesting than saving Treviso. After playing it I just feel like less effort was made to make saving Treviso unique and interesting especially the quest lines.

Solas draws the remnants of Varric out of the dagger in the fade. But, he does not avoid this fragment like he does Mythal. (So many tears because Varric doesn't hate him). Fragment Varric travels with Solas (and Lavellan depending on your ending) once again.

Something I've reflected on after playing all commitment scenes are that Lucanis and Bellara's scenes don't progress the relationship very well. I don't expect all commitment scenes to have a kiss. But they were missing the vulnerability and communication of their relationship.

I played all the companion's commitment scenes back to back to experience them all. Holy shit, Davrin and Emmrich had the best hands down. The little touches, the glances. My god they were beautiful and exquisite.

Rook reaching out to take Lucanis's hand but stopping themselves would have added some angst, some good slow burn, and would have been super cute.

My first playthrough after the prologue I thought that Varric's life force was going to be dependent on being in the fade after being stabbed with the lyrium dagger. I still think it would be a cool plot device especially with Solas wanting to bring down the veil.

What if Lucanis's commitment scene was that he did make a special dinner for Rook and told everyone to stay out of the dining room. Then everyone not so subtly alludes to the surprise. Lucanis pours Rook wine and then cooks.

People having bad faith arguments with valid complaints about Lucanis's romance will be the death of me. He has a good romance, but his content clearly got cut short. I love a slow burn, but we got to build that up. We had a good start and finish but a lacking build up.

It's funny that I shipped every companion with Neve except Lucanis (I also romance him so I'm biased). Neve really is just that woman, she looks great with everyone. Though I was really rooting for Neve and Bellara the most.

Lucanis tells Rook he's killed for less after making a number of hand puns about a hand statue. But later he says he'll handle it and then pulls a giant ass hand out of the fade. It's canon Lucanis secretly loves stupid puns.

Yes Solas betrayed me several times, but have you considered he looked sexy as hell while doing it?

Thinking about Solas and Cole. One was sent to countless wars twisted from his purpose. Trapped. The other was nurtured and guided by their loved ones in an unfamiliar world making a new destiny for themselves without losing who they are.
