We are a multi-disciplinary group focused on developing AI tools (computer vision) for computer aided diagnosis and minimally invasive surgery! We also work on novel methods in federated learning, robustness, among others!

It seems that I’m going to Seattle in January (my 3rd visit) At least i was able to get some rest during December (I wanted to travel a bit less in 2025 😂)

Closing the year with some of the members of my CV inside group! We had our last in person meeting of the year for this “Mexican posada” organized by our postgraduate school! For this occasion, we had piñata decoration contests and plenty of snacks 🌮 🤩

Today we had our progress report for Bill Weeks, leader of the Microsoft AI for Good Lab... The innitiative has been funding my CV-INSIDE lab for two years now with Azure Credits and I have got to meet members of the AI for Good Lab (the first time in Seattle, WA) and have some good feedback! ☺️
