Wrote all that without mentioning DeMarcus Lawrence. Just as well. He deserves his own post. Signed for depth, he decided instead to spearhead the pass rush, hog the headlines, be at the nexus of nearly every pivotal play, turn offensive tackles into little brothers, and swing the games. That's all

Sam Darnold is pumpkinning. They gotta get him right

JSN was due for a down game, not worried

AJ Barner makes this offense go more than ppl realize

Yes pls keep job sharing the RBs, and yes pls keep putting games away with the run like that

Good god, sign a couple more guards next year, Johnny S

Drake Thomas is a secret weapon who will assassinate you if you forget about him. He makes the defense weaklinkless

If the Nwosu/Mafe/Hall trio finishes sacks there is no ceiling to what these Seahawks can accomplish

But it's Ernest Jones IV more than anyone who vaults them into the stratosphere

Leftover thoughts thread from the Seahawks' latest romp:

Nick Emmanwori's progression will give opposing OCs plenty of pause

Bryon Murphy is a star

So is Josh Jobe

Barely called Leonard Williams and Devon Witherspoon's names & still shut out an NFL team

Pay Tariq Woolen, within reason (3/3)

The Seahawks didn’t win a beauty pageant on Sunday, but they did put themselves in position to win a style of game that will serve them well for where they want to go.

I covered that and more in my Morning After column www.hawkblogger.com/2025/12/the-...

“So this game isn’t about the quarterback, the star receiver, the stud running back. It’s an unabashed ode to the entire defense on a day they deserve every tulip in Mount Vernon.” 😆👏

New: Every #Seahawks win seems to validate a different Mike Macdonald-ism.

Today, they embodied “we defend a blade of grass.” In shutting out Minnesota they also lived out a new in-house mantra: “It doesn’t have to be close.”

Well, it wasn’t. www.nytimes.com/athletic/685...

Great look. I believe Chenna is still just warming up and will finish leading the team in sacks. 50+ as a group is the NFL standard for success and they'll blow that out of the water before all is said and done. #GoHawks
The Seahawks are on pace for 57 sacks this season, that would be the second most in team history behind the 1985 team.

Here's some notable names and what they are on pace for-

Byron Murphy 10
Leonard Williams 10
Uchenna Nwosu 9
Demarcus Lawrence 7
Drake Thomas 4
Derick Hall 2
Boye Mafe 2
