Really interesting article. I didn't understand why here "This data includes only groups who relied solely on hunting and gathering, were economically independent, politically egalitarian, and..." they excluded non-egalitarian hunter gatherer groups. Are they only a modern thing?

This case really reinforces my concern about the British state and its attitude towards data. Orders being treated as mere requests to be actioned at will. Junior staff members making blanket assertions about IT systems. It is all rather Horizon-like.

Lots of people are willing to day they're against factory farms and only support pasture raised beef or whatever already, while eating almost exclusively factory meat. Riding that definitely seems like a good strategy
