A short history of post-Brexit sewage dumping:
1. The chemicals we need to treat raw sewage are produced in the EU.
2. After Brexit, we no longer had easy access to those chemicals.
3. Rather than changing that, Brexiters passed a new law giving water companies permission to dump raw sewage.
Polluters told to dump risky sewage into rivers as Brexit disrupts water treatment
Supply chain disruption leading to fears of water treatment chemical shortage

To think, a lot of us used to enthusiastically follow this tosser Melville. Soon after his blue tick was awarded, (pre-purchasing one), he quickly became an unbelievable pillock.
Struggling to be polite here!!
At least he's got James Melville on his side

I wonder what word one would use for those who head for a fridge to hide in??

Frilibulate?
Susie smashes it again.
Word of the Day, should you need it, is ‘latibulate’, a 17th-century verb meaning to find a corner somewhere and hide in it.

But remember that Boris blustered through issues that would have brought down responsible governments. The narcissist will not blame their decisions, but the ineptitude of their actors.

Trump’s downfall can’t come soon enough but Republicans have got a very firm hold on US government.
You can always rely on a narcissist to bring about his own downfall...
The thing is - and as Truss found out - if you do totally stupid stuff it fails. These Trump picks are VERY bad and Ukraine and migrant America is right to be deeply concerned - but I simply cannot see it working out for him either. I sense the wheels will come off the clown car hard and fast.

I’ll bet you didn’t ‘get out there’. We are the other side of the Pennines and it’s cold enough to keep you indoors.
