Could someone please explain what the designer of this faucet was thinking? The handle’s affordance clearly suggests “lift” but actually you twist? Is this the physical manifestation of “LGTM! ship it” culture?

I’ve been working on some cool enhancements to Interfascia (interfascia.berg.industries), my GUI library for Processing. After fixing some embarrassingly old bugs, I’ve figured out a way to simplify the drawing code while adding support for additional Processing graphics modes.

I’ve been building a programming language! It’s still very much in the early stages, but I have enough implemented that I can start sharing some of its features. PushPop is a stack-based language (like Forth, Joy, or PostScript) with pattern matching and first-class functions.

I really want a fact check on this, because I find it completely implausible that a folding umbrella from 1991 still works. I’m even skeptical that it was a mechanism even available in 1991.
