From a terracotta pot with some moss covered soil emerges a plant with super thin stems which are almost invisible. At their ends sit lone purple flowers which look like an opened fan

This is not in my garden but how I wish it was! This is a little spot on the highway through the coast range in southern Oregon, where a patch of carnivorous Darlingtonia californica (cobra lily) grows. Mixed in with them are tiger lilies, though not flowering in these photos. Love that place! 🌿🌱
