The inbound flight is delayed due to weather but outbound it is delayed because of mechanical issues hmmm. Last week the excuse was the plane didn’t like mountains. I know the Rockies are high but they aren’t Everest high. That flight had to land in Winnipeg to refuel so the delay was very long.

Around this time four years ago we were on the wrong side of the last big atmospheric river that went through BC. Got stuck in Banff for 24 hours, fun, but by the time we made it to Kamloops we were stuck there for days. Then 12 hrs 🚘 through osoyoos & down & across to Seattle and back up to BC. 😮💨

I like walking in the rain because it reminds me of home. Today’s first music on shuffle was Jarvis Cocker , Running the World followed by That CND fave Xmas song ‘do you here what I hear’ which reminded me of the orange turd so switched to @alexpodyssey.bsky.social calm restored.

I left London the same day as you but on the 6 pm Toronto flight. I’m pretty sure when you asked for snow you didn’t mean Toronto but it’s here and I have a two hour drive in it today.

Back to Canada today. Finding Max Richter’s Memory House in vinyl for son seemed an impossible task. Had tried everywhere I knew in Canada but suspected if it was anywhere it would be near Aflecks Palace in Manchester. The Vinyl Exchange around the corner didn’t disappoint. #manchesterrules 👍🏻💪
