Rewatched LOOPER tonight, what a terrific film. I think it’s still my favorite time travel story and one of the very best science fiction films from the 2010s.

Finally watched SUNSHINE tonight. What a beautifully constructed sci-fi film. It takes some massive swings within the genre and I think it mostly works. Feels like a story I’ll be thinking about for quite some time. Instantly one of my favorite sci-fi films of the 21st century.

I thought this was pretty fun! A lot of it is stuff we’ve seen from this franchise before and it very much is repetitive to previous films, but it’s fun nonetheless. It has four or five sequences with dinosaurs that were some of my favorites in the entire franchise. Its fun!

I really loved this! From the opening all the way through the end credits I was hooked and didn’t think it lets up in the slightest. The last racing sequence was so well done and exciting. My only critique is there’s stretches where Brad Pitt felt like he was mailing it in.

What an emotionally rich and devastating film. Loved every second of this and might be my favorite in the franchise. Immediately one of my favorites of the year.
