The awesome part is that the emergence of Jaden’s midrange and at the basket game has given them what seems to be another reliable option for clutch scoring. May calm ant down a bit in the sense that he may not feel like he has to go nuclear to win in clutch time.

And from that standpoint, small things like Rob showing promise today are exciting. Bodes well for the next really good iteration of the team. And I do think he can be a really core piece.

Agree expectations should be lowered relative to last yr. Playoffs as a 5-8 seed is my expectation. Don’t like the trade for immediate success, but can tolerate it as a means to future flexibility in Ant’s prime years. Think that’s the real game here, as much as FO won’t come out and just say it.

People said the Gobert trade set the team back years in that first season and safe to say that worked out ok. Think the fan base has to collectively take a deep breath. Sky isn’t falling on this season yet and certainly not on long term prospects.
