Officiating is fickle and the team needs to accept that. Don’t make it worse by complaining.
However. The league should consider two things:
1) what kind of play are we incentivizing?
2) is that style of play conducive to an enjoyable product?
If the answer to 2 is “no”, things need to change.

Best part about College Football 25 is it creates a fantasy world where I can force Wake Forest Sports to thrive in big moments. Can’t put a price tag on that.

Insane, miraculous comeback last night. One of the most fun wolves games I’ve ever watched.
My one takeaway besides the vibes being all the way back: that comeback was possible because they insisted on getting to the basket. No stepback 3 heroics. Finch should use this as an example for Ant.

Part of me gets really frustrated when the wolves drop winnable games like that (ant bad shot selection, Jaden missing open 3s, bad closing lineups, etc) but like at the same time I remember they’re missing 3 of their best guys. Obviously gotta analyze what you have but it might be that simple.

I still tune in live or after the fact for most games, but it’s hard not to feel some level of apathy towards this wolves squad. Glad this is one of the games I wasn’t free to watch.

Will be interesting to see what the next iteration of the wolves looks like. Sun’s setting on Mike soon and don’t see them winning a chip with Rudy. Think the future’s bright but maybe grayer than I imagined going into this season (from a roster perspective ownership aside).

Have all wolves games taped and watch a lot of them on delay. Just toss do not disturb on and skip through commercials. Thank god I somehow saw the score before the 4th started cause I would not have been able to handle the stress lmao. All’s well that ends well!

This stint has made a pretty strong case for more Dillingham minutes. Small sample but looks the part of a rotation player.

Remember watching the wolves go down against the Warriors in the bay last Nov and thinking “not worried, they’ll find a way”. Very different feeling this Nov (makes sense with roster shakeup).
Last night sucked, but maybe this is a wake up call they needed to get some of that identity back.
