Scottish Amateur Radio operator of no fixed ability. Currently not on the air, but pondering a comeback. This is an Amateur Radio account only (*). Celebrating abject failure since July 1986. (*with added jokes, pies, biscuits, and surrealism.)
Half Man Half Biscuit lyrics are getting worse.

You'll have a long wait. 😂

Is this National Scammers' Day?
November 17, 2025 at 5:47 PM
That's lovely. I've not heard of it before. 120V and 120S and the 130V and 130S, yes, but not one of them.

I'm waiting to see what's going to occur.

The e-mail has been removed from my profile. I can do without it, for now.

😂😂

I agree with you about the first point, but I'm mindful that it's 2025 and that others insist on such modern innovations. The public e-mail address has gone, however.

It makes me nervous, too. Who's the identity thief? The VE station or QSLWorld? I hadn't even heard of them until I received the e-mail.

Therefore, someone has paid for the XML feature in order to harvest data? What can I remove in order to shore this up?

I was probably binge-watching Glee at the time.

See Page 10 of December's RadCom.

Only one platform has that e-mail address visible to the public (in the form of a registered user, which he is) by moving a mouse over it. That's QRZ. I only created the e-mail account a few months ago when I updated my QRZ page for the first time in years, and I've only used it on QRZ and eQSL.

Bleep you, I won't do what you tell me?
November 17, 2025 at 1:18 PM
I didn't click the link. There's more to the e-mail, including all the contact data lifted from the QRZ page and the decoy e-mail address I use. I've never even confirmed a QSO via QRZ, and I don't have LOTW.

Ten thousand? Maniac!
November 17, 2025 at 10:24 AM
I did, but only deduced the identity of the mystery guest with the mention of LIDS_CW.
November 17, 2025 at 10:18 AM
Hello again.
November 17, 2025 at 10:05 AM
Is it you?
November 17, 2025 at 9:56 AM
Ooh, new Callsign.
November 3, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Oh, the adverts. 🤬 Is there a way to send and receive files by Bluetooth automatically, rather than having to enable the feature manually?
November 3, 2025 at 5:55 PM
Ken, like.
