The 9th century Warminster Jewel - an aestel (a manuscript pointer) from the time of King Alfred the Great of Wessex. Now part of the collections at Salisbury Museum, the jewel was found by a metal detectorist at Cley Hill, Warminster, in 1997. 📸 My own. #FindsFriday
