The bumper says 'rugged working man'.

But the cargo bed says ‘cosplay builder with soft hands’.

Time to ban these fragile-man-mobiles from our cities.

It's amazing how a small piece of wire can change your day when it becomes embedding in your e-bike tire. Thankfully a friend who otherwise has no use for a truck was on scene to bail me out. 🚲👏👍

As the US harasses Venezuela and increases it's military presence in the region it is important to remember the drug they're really going after is oil. Whether through regime change or direct intervention, they want the world's largest reserves to be under their control.

Home Depot. You sell me a "new" faucet with missing parts and some else's old plumbing bits in it.
Thankfully get to ride my e-bike 5km to do an exchange. 🚲

My favorite line in the BC Highway traffic act is "May turn right on a red", which also implies "May not" as well. I often choose the latter. 🚦🍁

Just when I'm convinced Saskatchewan has the country's worst leadership, Ontario's leader opens his mouth.

When something groundbreaking comes along there are two reactions - embrace it or regulate it to prevent adoption. E-bikes are facing both simultaneously.

Beautiful ride to the pharmacy today aside from someone trying to run me down at a 🚦. Looked straight through me as they turned left because my high vis clothing and flashing lights are no match for their impatience. #wankers

So impressive that NASA is preparing to do the same thing it did almost 60 years ago. We've come a long way (not).

Do you call it Autumn or Fall 🍂?
Why?

War math is difficult. 60 people in Afghanistan have died for every American killed in the 9/11 attack, yet no one feels there's been justice - on either side. Including the families of the 50,000 innocent civilians killed in the madness. A good day to reflect on the futility of vengeance.

Kudos to the Town of Comox for cleaning up the graffiti sprayed by hopefully soon-to-be charged vandals. We want to have nice things and nice places.

At a dessert get together last night, one of the attendees droned on and on about how she had to be careful driving around cyclists in her beach front neighborhood. Like they were broken glass on the road ruining her commute. She said - roads are for cars, everything else is just in her way.

It's completely understandable that conservatives want to underfund and reduce education opportunities. Their voting demographic leans toward the less educated.

I just read that James Dobson died. I wonder if people comprehend how much influence he was on where we are today - politically. He sure fucked a lot of people over in the name of god.

Anyone else concerned about the current political situation causing distraction from the fact that the planet is burning? I feel like a frog in a pot of water on a stove, but I'm well aware of the rising temperature. Problem is - I can't jump out of the pot.

If you're anywhere near Comox next weekend you are fortunate. Actually,if you're anywhere near Comox at any time you're fortunate. But especially next weekend. Seriously.

One cheap e-bike catches fire - it's national news and we need to restrict them. Every day in Canada 27 automobiles catch fire (not counting EVs) but that's just normal. Sure there's more cars, but we've had a hundred years to fix this...
