this is the move I would have advised from the beginning, instead of spending months calling it a hoax, bullying his own party, alienating supporters, and generally looking guilty as fuck.

he’s going to publicly say he supports transparency while he either strong arms the senate into not taking it up, or the DOJ will not comply due to ongoing investigations. the files will not be made public and he can claim that it isn’t his fault
