Talking about the experience of using GLP-1 medications for improving metabolic issues 1 shot at a time.

Current Shot: Zepbound | 2.5mg

Everything I have seen in the communities taking GLP1s this seems to be pretty understood. Of course that is just a sampling of those engaging in communities though, as I am sure people are doing things solo as well.

Daily. With a body composition scale that allows more metrics than just total body weight.

I am happy to check it out! I requested early access on the site

The best time to start tracking was when you started the shots, the 2nd best time is NOW. Body composition scales from Renpho are very cheap now and integrate with Apple Health and Shotsy. The reason I ask is weight may go up but knowing if it’s fat/muscle/water helps

Are you tracking body composition or just total body weight?

Yes, weight loss is a big part of improving health and taking medication that improves metabolic function is an intelligent PowerUp vs a “cheat” as it has been labeled. Perspective matters. People don’t “cheat” high blood pressure or asthma by taking medications as an example.

I take #zepbound NOW to improve health to avoid becoming type-2 diabetic which is what #mounjaro is for. Same medicines but labeled for different issues. I want to avoid the issues.

Comes a bit from the different brand names for the same medicine bro ganged to drive different positive outcomes. #ozempic vs #wegovy or #zepbound vs #mounjaro name indicates the medical issue it is intended to solve.

The only cheating is not believing the ways of the past solve all the modern problems the same way and exploring other ways to improve your own personal life.
Sort of skipping to solving the problem vs hoping what may work for others solves it.

Today was the first day I had ordered lunch out and I ate maybe 1/4 what I ordered and felt full to the point of taking another bite would make me feel sick. I imagine this is the beginning as I have more meds in bloodstream.

So far no real impacting side effects just moments of nausea that subside quickly. I am hoping it is not signs of things to come as I titrate up which I’ll see in the coming weeks
