Shot 1 | Week 1 in the books. I didn’t “feel” results of meds until I realized I was starting to feel hungry and think about food again toward the end of my week. Tracking and using #shotsy definitely recommended #zepbound #glp1

GLP-1 drugs are revolutionizing the way we think about obesity. It is a chronic disease (like high blood pressure), and might actually be a form of food addiction. One reason these drugs are so effective in treating obesity could be that they address the underlying addiction.

Very reassuring data from the first big #zepbound (#tirzepatide/#mounjaro) study re lean mass loss on these meds. Much more fat mass lost, great visceral (abdominal) fat lost, and proportional losses to placebo.

People aren’t kidding when they say you can’t finish a meal being too full quickly. I went out to lunch and could barely eat what I ordered before feeling full. I see lots of leftovers in my future. #zepbound #glp1
