I know how invasive these guys are and I’ve done my fair share of extermination, but I also took one home to keep in a terrarium and these guys are so silly, look how fast these guys launch themselves when first taking off!!

Literally ripped this hog apart, cleaned and sanded the contacts down to fresh copper, extended the spring so it puts more pressure on the contacts, and bulged the plate out a bit on the contacts for the same reason

I also changed the interior and door lighting to red LED’s… it looks sick as fuck.. I’m definitely going to have to tint these windows at some point lol

The climate control lighting looks sick as fuck now!!! I feel like I now have to rip apart the gauge cluster and give it the same treatment lol. Maybe one day, I’m happy enough with this.

Last mission of the day was ripping the dashboard apart to get my HVAC controller out. There was some dead light bulbs on the board I’m replacing with colored LED’s. It’s so incredible just how easy it is to take this car apart and service individual modules especially after working on modern cars.
