Our mission is to educate, inspire, and foster a deeper understanding of the African American experience through engaging exhibits, dynamic programs, and community outreach. We recognize and honor the diverse African diasporas represented in Rhode Island.

A word...
Anti-DEI is an attack on civil rights by segregationists. Most white "allies" are completely silent while segregationists attack Black people and our civil rights.

These silent "allies" without a shred of shame or self-awareness, fully expect Black voters to make sacrifices to save them at midterms

Yeah, I think I'm done with the news and the socials for the day.

Because my God, in this country, we're told "it's not about you, Black people," and I agree (and would LOVE for it not to be)...

But every day, I swear, we have to say...
a woman with blonde hair is saying now why am i in it .

Civics is not widely taught anymore. A lot of the people actually do not know how government functions on a local, state, or federal level.

“Why haven’t Black people ever built a prosperous town or their own?!”

We did…several times. They just killed us, looted our homes and burned it down. Tulsa is likely the most well known of these incidents but there are many more.

NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.
