Losing it over this photo of neutral milk hotel. I know each one of these guys, every art scene in western MA has at least two. I've illegally camped with all of them. The one in the back gave me five of my most treasured tattoos. I'm related to 3 of em. Nearly started a wildfire with the first.

Somewhere along the lines I found an Aer Lingus spoon, exactly like this, at Goodwill for $0.50. It's the perfect teaspoon. Every time I hold it it brings me great joy.

The print in question, it was influenced heavily by the work of Daido Moriyama and he picked that up right away.

And his color work is equally striking. The word timeless is thrown around far too much but this work is equally as ancient as it is so deliciously modern.

Like I do not like this picture a normal amount! His work is so ethereal and timeless that it feels like I'm trapped in a world where the number one photographic influence on National Geographic was The Color of Pomegranates!

Three years after my grandmother demonstrated incredible foresight and died on Christmas day 2019, avoiding 2020 entirely, we opened a box of her ornaments that had been packed away since 2010. For some reason my dad didn't want her solid glass disco ball. Truly his loss.
