Zohran Mamdani doesn’t make me, an American Jew, feel unsafe.

Having the Coast Guard, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, decide that a swastika isn’t really a symbol of hate? That makes me, an American Jew, feel pretty damn unsafe.

AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

The Democrats are circulating talking points (leaked to me) about Trump's call for them to be arrested for telling soldiers to disobey illegal orders. They're told to cite things like the Law of War Manual to show that what they did was legal:

Republicans calling Mamdani an Islamic terrorist, then honoring Mohammed Prince "Bone Saws" bin Salman Al Saud with a White House visit is the most audacious display of GOP repugnance I've seen in about the last hour. If a nonstop flow of dumpster juice is your thing, they'll never disappoint.

Alabama was set to be the first state to cut ties w/ PBS "because of politics and federal budget cuts."

But that plan has been voted down after "a public backlash".

And then think of what a cornered psychopathic human being with the morals and instincts of a rat and control of over five thousand nuclear warheads would do.
This is a very dangerous moment for the country and the world. A cornered rat will do anything to escape.

They're running from it now. But the fact that Senate Republicans tried to give 10 of their colleagues at least $1 million each for nothing but a bogus press op captures the corruption of Trump II. In no other environment wld this even occur to the most corrupt politicians.
