I don't know what they put in the luminous orange "cheese" popcorn that completely breaks my resolve (it's definitely not cheese), but every time I finish a box I go "that was awful, I should stop buying this" and then three weeks later I'm at it again.

As we’re seeing more and more videos that are *completely* AI-generated, this is a great reminder that even videos with a real human in them usually don’t reflect reality. I always knew that, but I feel like I lost sight of it in the tidal wave of clips that are entirely fabricated.

Theatre, no question. Not only do you get to watch all the shows, but you also get to hear all the fun backstage gossip, and you could very easily get people to believe in you and develop little superstitions about acknowledging you because actors love that sort of thing.

Batten down the hatches, download some longfic, and be sure to comment on any fics you have finished but still open in a tab because “you’ll get to it” before you try to do it during the downtime and they turn into error pages and you accidentally close them.
