@andyburnham.bsky.social when will safe cycle parking be introduced at Piccadilly Station? I keep going into the station to buy food (10 mins max), to return to find my pannier bag wide open.

This is the sort of news I want to hear about - not hourly updates on which political party can outdo the others at cruelty to immigrants.
NEW: Something remarkable happened recently and hardly anyone noticed – GB electricity demand was 100% covered by clean power

We took a look at the data and this has happened for a record 87 hours in 2025 to date, twice as often as ever before

What's never considered by those sternly against immigration is how their pension will be paid, who will provide them care and who will save their life.
They'll shout that we can train our own, but the number of people who will be available is falling.
We need immigration for a functioning economy.
Once hundreds of schools start closing across the country and the retirement age rises to 75, the current period of moral panic over immigration is going to look utterly ridiculous

How would Reform fund scrapping the two-child benefit cap?

They're making a lot of promises, 4 years away from an election, but not showing how they'd cost them.

They're making claims based on which way the political winds are blowing...and adding a smell of 💩

If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.
