It's stunning to me how even serious people still consider him sort of an oddball genius. It's a serious indictment of the way we've been conditioned to regard business success, even when it results from sociopathic behavior.

Anybody else willing to add media to prisons, health care, and education as areas in which profits might not actually be the best and purest driver of desirable outcomes?

By a lot.

Stifling that potential would be, and is, massively destructive. A crime against progress, no matter how you define progress.

A crime against humanity.

But gratifying, I gather, to the more fragile among male egos.
