Adding the finishing touches to a drawing I thought was done weeks ago… Re-asserting in my mind the gift of time and distance and working non-linearly. Stepping away for a while runs counter to our societal rhythms sometimes, but it’s oh so human. ❤️

🧵 For those who used to follow me on Insta (will be leaving that app soon), you might remember my posts about this tree. It’s my “goodbye/thankyou” tree. I first sat underneath its branches when my 17-yr-old cat died… I returned 3 weeks later when I found out I was pregnant.
