Such a good piece of technology. I still buy physical books on occasion but my Kindle has to easily be one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. I just love it.

Beautiful. Not had the chance to play a Furch myself but heard very good things, enjoy!

Not entirely sure what difference it makes for translations but the above screenshot was from the "Following" feed!

Seems like it will show everyone?

Noticed the exact same thing including sweeping generalisations that people who move are “politically motivated” or “against freedom of speech”.

I'd typically expect to find something like that on a "Key Concepts" or "Overview" page.

For whatever reason, the Node.js ecosystem at large seems almost allergic to convention.

Other ecosystems don't seem so hesitant to buy into shared ideas and I think it's of great benefit to them.

There is a reason the "Rails" of Node doesn't exist and never will. No-one would agree on anything.

I'd recommend giving "Dry the River" a listen if you never have. They (sadly) disbanded in 2015, but their debut album "Shallow Bed" is still my favourite album ever released front-to-back.

Their second album "Alarms In The Heart" is great too!

Although I will still have to worry about those things for the foreseeable future as NPM certainly isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Still, it's nice to know how simple publishing a package _can_ be.

I think the thing I find the most unsettling is imagining the myriad ways they'll be used to spread misinformation or confuse the public.

It'll be interesting to observe over the years!

Elixir is a beautiful language and well worth the time.

To best utilise it's strengths, I'd build something in LiveView that leverages Phoenix Channels (its real-time functionality). Something like a basic Slack alternative could be cool!
