I can still use a chain saw, now have a big pile of branches to clean up and a spouting to get fixed because tree + wind.

I think I am officially sick of garbage collectors, especially when advice on how to deal with side effects has liberal use of the word "generally" in it.
In colloquial en_au, "generally" means, "give it a go, it'll be fun to watch you try?"

Please, get yourself a satellite phone or fit an HF or CB or even an Amateur Radio to your vehicle if you are going to head out to remote areas of Australia. Remote in some states may only be a few 100km from the capital city.
