I don't mind reading about an Evil MC, but if he's not at least likable or funny, then chances are he's just an asshole that I'm for some reason supposed to be rooting for.

If I've learned anything from the past few years observing US politics, it's that a lot of Americans suffer from 'Main Character Syndrome'. The US does not hold up the pillars of every developed country purely on their own. And to think so is insanity.
