Google Maps inflates train travel times. I timed 15 minutes for a trip that GM said would take 30. That must depress usage.

Even if we buy that nonpartisan elections are real, he can have opinions on individuals.
He was mayor of that city, so i would've liked a weigh-in.
I care about races in one of my state's major cities for the same reasons i care about the nyc mayoral race.

I don't regret being pessimistic, but I didn't base that on polling, just vibes: the relative novelty of a party keeping the governorship for 3 terms in a row, Dems getting dinged for energy prices, & swing district Dems spending like it's the Apocalypse.
