Honestly that style of moderation is also good.
Post vague rules that are easy to follow if you're in the spirit of the thing, but grant wide interpretation of said rules to mods so they can act as stewards- and sometimes you can break the rules but only if you're Very funny

And while sure, everything surrounding you, all that you love and hold dear, will crinkle like a tin can when you get there, but the vibes will be immaculate the whole way and I bet it feels great
two men are standing in a dark room with a flag on the wall .
Alt: The bros from Down Periscope just having a lovely time in their submariner vessel
Did you know the "submarine" is named after the famous sandwich? The scientists discovered the shape was surprisingly great for making underwater boats purely by being inspired by their lunch one day. It's like Toriyama and naming things after foods, but here it's an entire form of warfare.
I am a boat expert.

I don't actually know what you're giving up either, since Perforce is Perforce? But maybe there's less features?

You can get up to 20 users free (or is it 10) by using a specific older version of Perforce

Weirdly no that's become a viral landmark? They never fixed it so it's become a pilgrimage to go fuck yourself up on the Big Slide

Like that's especially what happens when you try to write from dreams. What you write down initially is a single paragraph that makes no sense but is full of VIBES.
Then you either spread that out, or if it's too thin, you staple it to a couple other dream paragraphs you think fit, THEN spread.

Even if you start with "a lady leaves her apartment and goes into a spooky hallway and then it's all foggy and she sees a monster that looks like a penis and then she goes back through the door and orders a hotdog from a vendor and that's symbolic", then you've got a starting point.

No, totally, it is!
My rough drafts for even a whole novel start at like, 8k words? 10k?
Then I go "ah this bit is too scene chewy" and kinda spreaad it out here and there like I'm making a pizza crust
Just put digital pen to paper and get SOMETHING down, complete, end to end. Then read it back.

I feel like what you're looking for is something akin to writing prompts. Normally those are the start of a story, but surely there exists a database somewhere of "prompts for interesting situations your party might find themselves in" as a DM resource? Hrm
