The GSFF24 Bill Douglas Award went to Saleh Kashefi for ‘And How Miserable is the Home of Evil’. The GSFF24 International Audience Award went to ‘Wander to Wonder’ by Nina Gantz.

GSFF25 selections will be announced in our programme announcement next month.

Born into poverty in a Midlothian mining community in 1934, Bill Douglas, the namesake of our annual award for international short film, became one of Scotland’s most celebrated film directors. His films are celebrated for their honest and innovative approach to storytelling.
