I also note that she completely mis-characterized David eBay's call for building refineries, dismissing it as "Why ship refined product?". Pretty sure Eby called for refineries on the coast...

Certainly, but these are stupid people. Exxon says it un-investable, Chevron pledges to add 100k barrels in a couple of years. This is not a tool to threaten Alberta with. Trump will be dead before any new production comes online. We don't need more pipelines to save us.

It's nowhere near that simple. They can't easily deliver Venezuela crude to the Midwest, which is where the majority of ours goes. So can't cut us off without starving the Midwest of diesel fuel.
