It's steadily becoming the future for other systems, too. If I remember correctly, both Indiana Jones and Doom the Dark Ages are basically Game Key Cards on PS5.

I don't think that's Nintendo. Other companies have been making that push for well over a decade now, Nintendo is just enabling them, which is it's own kind of shitty.

I'm at work most of the time it's on, so I never watch it. The one time I've ever been kind of disappointed in not watching it was when Statler and Waldorf were on it because they're my favorite muppets.

My guess is ,similar to the MK8DXBCP, They're working on the next Animal Crossing, but it's gonna take longer than expected, so They're pushing out an update to tide people over.

I will say that the SW1 Version on SW2 seems to run fine. It doesn't look as good as post Patch DQIII though.

I bought the SW1 version because
1. I'm not buying the Game Key Card
2. My mom is also a DQ fan, and I gave her my old Switch.
I hope it's better optimized than III.

It's so weird cause there are plenty of RPGs with a similar artstyle that they could compare Pokémon to, but because most jaded pkm fans don't play other JRPGs they can only compare it to hyper realism games or the Unreal engine Ark clone.

You can find physical versions of Switch games cheaper on Amazon and Walmart. I bought Forgotten Land for about $40.
