Is avoiding relegation the only thing that matters now, or do we also need to see the semblance of a “project” emerging? I fear we recruit someone like O’Neil, survive, but watch shit football in 2026, and feel no further forward.

100%. Seems like a lovely bloke who’s been through something unimaginable. Just hasn’t worked for him. We’ve had plenty of good coaches who’ve failed here. Something’s been rotten at the club for a few years.

Agreed. But he also acknowledged that from a PR perspective, it was a disaster, which is appropriate, and sent the right message, I think.

And, frankly, I bet he is talking to plenty of people outside the club. He just knows better than to undermine his existing leadership team when they’re in post. #ncfc

Tbf, he wasn’t an unknown manager. Appreciate he wasn’t experienced at this level. But he’d done extremely well in Denmark. Lots of good managers/coaches seems to fail here. Which suggests something deeper in rotten.

How can couples talk about autism? And, like with ADHD, how much can you expect change in a relationship where one person has with a diagnosis?
