Yeah all solid players ofc and played their part. But Rice and that version of Antonio have been irreplaceable and took what was a decent mid-table side to top 6 contender

Rice is bossing CL games every week. It's mad that he played for us

Only MASTERCUTS for the real ones

I tend to get this stuff on CD or digital

Let that shit flow and get in the zone without getting up every 20 mins!
November 26, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Great run and finish. Hopefully he'll get some game time off the left wing instead of our backup RB 😩
November 25, 2025 at 10:24 PM
United are not great also tbf
November 24, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Sure but in January you need two things

Someone with the ability and/or experience to get ramped up and ready to impact v quickly

And available - which means a club willing to sell/loan and a player willing to come

Possible but not easy. For every Demba Ba there are loads of Evan Fergusons
November 24, 2025 at 8:40 PM
That's true. Although Nuno isn't that interested in keeping the ball to defend. He probably wants a more solid backline to defend deeper and play on the break

Bowen and Paqueta have shown they are capable of playing CF - even if it's not ideal

Signing a quality forward in Jan will be very hard imo
November 24, 2025 at 7:30 PM
But yes, confidence is a huge thing as well ofc. Losing becomes habitual.

I think we are relying on a magic bullet arriving in January which I'm pessimistic about will happen...

We cannot concede 20+ shots per game with this team like we did regularly under Moyes
November 24, 2025 at 2:51 PM
I'm more worried by the defending. We have options to score goals.

Winning while playing badly tends to be a positive trait when you are a good team at the top end of the table

At the bottom you need foundations and repeatable things you can rely on to win points - clean sheets, chances, goals
November 24, 2025 at 2:49 PM
I agree but having 3 points after 81 mins and leaving with a point is 2 points dropped

3 games unbeaten is good obvs. The issue is that over those 3 games I'm not sure what solid foundations we have laid to build on going forwards?

Sorting the CM maybe? But it's not game changing

Musicbee eh? I have a hard drive full of music I need to hook up and looking for something like this

I'll check it out
November 23, 2025 at 7:33 PM
He's a great outlet on the break when we are holding onto a lead and the game opens up

For me, ideally he's an impact sub option until he proves otherwise

But we don't have a better LW option in 4-3-3. I'd still play Paqueta there but doubt that happens

Guilherme or Earthy maybe

Liverpool are far too smart to sack a coach a dozen games after winning the league

I haven't seen anything on Summerville but he needs to start actually producing

He's fast but dribbling before falling over or losing the ball isn't all that helpful
November 23, 2025 at 4:04 PM
We were largely outplayed by Burnley and I cannot erase Brentford and Leeds from my mind

I don't know what he saw in the game vs Everton to think that an Irving/Soucek CM was a good idea

And then doing it again 4 days after we got totally slapped v Brentford

Highly suspect decisions in-game
November 23, 2025 at 3:55 PM
With Moyes we had Fornals and Antonio to help get us up the pitch

And two CBs that would head and kick everything that came near them

Fernandes completed 83% of his passes and no-one else was over 57%

Impossible to hold out if you keep kicking the ball to the other team!
November 23, 2025 at 1:21 PM
I've been pretty unimpressed with Nuno. His in-game management has been poor.

I didn't see the game yesterday but Guilherme and Fernandes are two players that can carry the ball/provide some threat. We don't have the defence to sit and defend for 40+ mins and we don't have a striker to hit long
November 23, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Hopefully we had someone at the game to watch him

The problem is I wouldn't want to pair him with any of our current CBs given their total lack of leadership qualities

It's inevitable that we sign an experienced CB in January so another loan to a club that will actually play him seems best

The oral history of All Tomorrows Parties and all the bands and mad ideas that started (and mostly ended) with a group of people off their tits in a holiday park needs to be written

God, I miss that festival 😩
November 23, 2025 at 9:36 AM
I read that Orford has been recalled too...

Not that worried about Casey playing in a losing team. Playing is the main thing unless he looked totally inept!
November 23, 2025 at 8:41 AM
I'm totally unconvinced by him

Forest last season was a massive overperformance and started going wonky towards the end of the season

I can't forget those Brentford and Leeds games and watching Irving and Soucek play CM playing young Scarles at RB. Idiotic.
November 22, 2025 at 10:58 PM
One of our CMs completed 14 passes in the entire match and only 1 player had a pass completion above 58%

Can't win games like this and I am deeply, deeply unconvinced by Nuno so far tbh
