Rice is bossing CL games every week. It's mad that he played for us

Let that shit flow and get in the zone without getting up every 20 mins!

Someone with the ability and/or experience to get ramped up and ready to impact v quickly
And available - which means a club willing to sell/loan and a player willing to come
Possible but not easy. For every Demba Ba there are loads of Evan Fergusons

Bowen and Paqueta have shown they are capable of playing CF - even if it's not ideal
Signing a quality forward in Jan will be very hard imo

I think we are relying on a magic bullet arriving in January which I'm pessimistic about will happen...
We cannot concede 20+ shots per game with this team like we did regularly under Moyes

Winning while playing badly tends to be a positive trait when you are a good team at the top end of the table
At the bottom you need foundations and repeatable things you can rely on to win points - clean sheets, chances, goals

3 games unbeaten is good obvs. The issue is that over those 3 games I'm not sure what solid foundations we have laid to build on going forwards?
Sorting the CM maybe? But it's not game changing

I'll check it out

For me, ideally he's an impact sub option until he proves otherwise
But we don't have a better LW option in 4-3-3. I'd still play Paqueta there but doubt that happens
Guilherme or Earthy maybe

I haven't seen anything on Summerville but he needs to start actually producing
He's fast but dribbling before falling over or losing the ball isn't all that helpful

I don't know what he saw in the game vs Everton to think that an Irving/Soucek CM was a good idea
And then doing it again 4 days after we got totally slapped v Brentford
Highly suspect decisions in-game

And two CBs that would head and kick everything that came near them
Fernandes completed 83% of his passes and no-one else was over 57%
Impossible to hold out if you keep kicking the ball to the other team!

I didn't see the game yesterday but Guilherme and Fernandes are two players that can carry the ball/provide some threat. We don't have the defence to sit and defend for 40+ mins and we don't have a striker to hit long

The problem is I wouldn't want to pair him with any of our current CBs given their total lack of leadership qualities
It's inevitable that we sign an experienced CB in January so another loan to a club that will actually play him seems best

God, I miss that festival 😩

Not that worried about Casey playing in a losing team. Playing is the main thing unless he looked totally inept!

Forest last season was a massive overperformance and started going wonky towards the end of the season
I can't forget those Brentford and Leeds games and watching Irving and Soucek play CM playing young Scarles at RB. Idiotic.

Can't win games like this and I am deeply, deeply unconvinced by Nuno so far tbh
