I agree with you, but that's not a reason to not build affordable housing. It's a reason to build up public transit options, as this article is alluding to.

I don't think people realize the waitlist for affordable housing is multiple years long. The transit issue is real but I'm still shocked by the amount of people who use location as an argument against a particular development as if there are existing walkable locations to accommodate the need.
